Business Participation
The Lake Hiawatha Heart Warmer is a winter carnival that promotes the many independent businesses of the Standish-Ericsson, Longfellow, and Nokomis community in South Minneapolis. The Heart Warmer provides an opportunity for businesses to market their products or services directly to the community and put a face to their brand. In turn, community members will make connections with businesses they may have never known of and see a real person and benefit of keeping their dollars local.
This will be the 6th annual Lake Hiawatha Heart Warmer and it has become the highlight for many families for winter fun. People commuted to the event from as close as across the street to as far away as Prior Lake. Business booths and interactive business demonstrations were packed with people happy to get out of the house and enjoy seeing neighbors and making new connections.
This year we are planning for 1100+ guests, that is a lot of opportunities to market your your product or services directly to neighborhood residents and to many people coming from around the city and greater metro area.
