Parking is available on-street throughout the area. There is no parking lot for the park but there are no meters or limitations for on-street parking surrounding the park.
Bus Information
Lake Hiawatha Park borders 28th Avenue South of Minneapolis which is a bus route. Call Metro Transit at 612-373-3333 to learn about routes and schedules or go online for bus information at www.MetroTransit.org.
Where to Check In When You Arrive
When you and your guests arrive, make your first stop the welcome table. There you will sign in how many people are in your group and get free tickets for food, the horse drawn hay ride, and a ticket for a prize drawing. There is no cost for these tickets, tickets are used to get an accurate attendance count and help regulate the hay rides and hot dogs.
